 The Basics of Agile

The system development life cycle(SDLC)  has two well-known approaches when it comes to system development and those are the predictive and adaptive approach. For the longest time till today the predictive approach has been commonly used. The adaptive approach is when changes can be made to a project/system as its being developed and so this is where agile development enters. Agile development is a concept and a set of rules for creating information systems in an uncertain and constantly changing environment. It uses iterations and when it comes to modeling only the required, relevant models are created at the appropriate level of detail.
